El hombre nacional
Artist, craftsman and designer, he was a prominent cultural promoter in Mendoza. He created the Taller de Arte Popular Realista (1953), the Club del Grabado (1955-1958) and the Taller de Muralistas (1957). His skills included engraving, painting, sculpture, muralism and goldsmithing. He produced a wide variety of utilitarian and decorative works, including jewelry, furniture and architectural elements. He was a professor of Applied Arts at UNCuyo (1969-1978), where he explored various techniques and materials in morphological and modular studies. He was recognized with the National Arts Fund Award for Artistic Career.
